1.4 Consent & the DPDP Act, 2023
Aizent Private Limited is the Data Fiduciaryfor the personal and health data processed through our voice platform, as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
For every call, our AI assistant gives a brief verbal notice at the start that the call may be recorded and processed to assist with the request, and that continuing on the call implies the caller's consent to such processing (consent purpose: voice_call_recording_and_processing). This consent is recorded against the caller in our consent register. Consent can be withdrawn at any time (see Section 6). We do not process personal data for any purpose beyond those disclosed.

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:
Call recordings are automatically deleted from cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage, Mumbai region) after 90 days and their links are expired; summaries are cleared. An automated retention job purges expired personal data and writes to a retention audit log. Records we are legally required to keep (billing 7 years, audit logs 3 years) are retained and are exempt from erasure requests.

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, every individual whose data we process is a Data Principal and has the following rights, which you may exercise by writing to us at hello@aizent.in:
On an erasure request we permanently delete or anonymize your transcripts, call logs, sessions, consent records, and associated AI vectors. By law we retain billing history (7 years, for GST/tax) and audit logs (3 years), which are not deleted.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.
